Divine wind/ wish of GOD
I wake up at dawn, the time when others are asleep, to start my work.
It is my ritual to start the day barefoot, looking at the sky, and breath in the cold dawn atmosphere. The country side where even the lamp post is rare, the night darkness pulls my pupil wide open to catch starlights. Looking into the sky, I feel the earth turning. I can sense myself floating in the center of the space with numerous stars.
One day, during the dawn ritual an inspiration suddenly arouse in me.
The image was so intense as if a distant being called me. It was so clear that I believe this image is beyond my own thinking.
In the image, there was a person praying in the fierce wind.
The person was exposed to a wild wind. The wind is so strong that it riped off one side of the coat and made the hair dance. However, this person solely sat still, closing his/her eyes, communicating with inner self. The person's image became clearer in the dark. When the silence with darkness came, he/her shadow became a perfect circle.
This was the moment of unwavering peace and creation even in the rough and strong wind that made whole body flounder.
Most human beings are born, suffer from the flow of the world in which they belong, and then they die. Only some pioneers who are not flinched by the winds of worldly lure, find their own paths, realize the growth of their inner souls, and eventually change the world.
We know that life can be hell like the play of demons, or can be a path to completing our souls like the saints. A life that only follows what's in front of you is full of tired, sad and meaningless times. But if you accept being alive as a wonder and continue to pursue a deeper experience and creation, you will experience love, truth and freedom.
Depending on which path you choose, your life can be hell or heaven.
Everyone wants fullness of life, but most fails to reach that hope because they move by small habits that they don't even realize they have. Habitually speaking, acting, and thinking brings us down into the abyss. To reach the sublime stage of life, we should not move from past habits or for future gain. The only way to reach infinite life is to be awaken here and now.
It is only by looking back at what I say, think or do that makes life a marvel. To look back on weather I depend on past habits or whether I move by awareness of the present moment for growth of my existence will bring marvel to life.
Even if a man is suffering from the wild wind, a man must look deep inside one's mind. We must face directly into the source of fear to get rid of it. The world we must make is a world where we move toward a noble life and create a complete circle. This would be what the God wants from us.
'The Divine Wind' is a story about the ultimate human reach. Existence creates and dissipates. Where is the place of our consciousness in the endless circulation of death and succeeding life?
How long can the sublime moment, which I feel as I face the stars and the moon against the Earth in the stillness of dawn, last?
